NBA Guest Speaker – Senator Ted Gaines!

We invited State Senator Ted Gaines and his staff to visit the Northern Business Associates on 3-27-2018 at our noon meeting held at the Country Waffle Restaurant.

Senator Gaines talked on several issues of interest and afterwards took time to answer many questions.  Some key points covered were sanctuary cities, federal and state judges, some of the current laws on the books that need to be changed, gas tax, prisons and more.  He talked about small businesses and the difficulties they face.  When asked about his views on immigration, Senator Gaines said he is pro-immigration when done legally.   The Senator also informed us of several important bills being proposed and laws that were recently passed in the State of California.

Everyone enjoyed hearing Senator Gaines talk and were very appreciative that he made a special trip to Redding to speak at our NBA meeting.
